Hello , I’m just curious on how many rounds the body can go though plastic surgery before it gets very risky/life threatening for the patient. I’ve heard of patients getting 2-3 rounds of 360 Lipo , bbl, etc.. but never heard of anyone getting 4, 5 or even 6 rounds . Is there a reason why ? Thank you to all doctors that answer :)

Answer: Safe surgery When considering multiple procedures safety is your number 1,2,and 3 priorities. Sometimes it is not wise to perform multiple procedures on the same area because the results will be less than ideal. Sometimes your body hasnt fully recovered in sufficient time to perform the next procedure. Generally surgeries performed over a long enough period of time can be done safely.

Answer: Liposuction Hi there, great question! While the amount of fat to be removed from one patient depends on how much fat they actually have, once over 5 liters of fat has been removed, this is considered "high volume" and the patient has to stay at a hospital overnight. It does become more difficult to do liposuction on an area that has already had it done before but if a patient has multiple areas of concern, most doctors will recommend them splitting these into multiple procedures. So for example, this month you could have a BBL and have up to 5 liters of fat removed from your abdomen but still want liposuction in additional areas. Your doctor might recommend that you come back in 3-6 months to have the next area of concern addressed and so on. I hope this helps! Dr. Nicholas Holwand, MD
