I am booked in for a BBL in October but in the news today a lady died having the procedure carried out. My husband feels that a BBL is too risky and that maybe I should just have lipo to tummy /hips/lower back. Is lipo safer? Could be results be pleasing?

Your PS, PCP, and hematologist are in a better position to evaluate this for you. Best to be seen by a hematologist who can recommend an appropriate regimen based upon the cause for the anemia. In general, 11-12 is adequate for surgery if attention to hemostasis is meticulous.Kenneth Hu...
