6 months post mommy makeover - should I be concerned about my breast shape? (photos)

I had a mommy make over July 2022, and just hitting the 6 month mark. Everything seems great except for my breast. I had 450cc put in and just last month my nipples started "wandering" and the only way i get any shape is if i stay in the same underwire bra for days but they quickly want to go back to this weird look just in the time it takessme to shower. Is it nornal?

The wire of the bra you were using was too narrow, so the implant was pushed inward and the nipple was moved outward. It can be seen that the movement of the implant and the movement of the nipple are in opposite directions. Don't squeeze your chest anymore. If you continue to gather, a condition called "symmastia" will occur where both implant spaces are merged into one, the nipple will be pushed more outwards and the shape will become more strange.

I encourage you to visit with your surgeon for an evaluation.  At six months post op you are seeing your final results. Pre operative photos or an exam would be needed to comment on specific changes, but it does appear you would benefit from a revision for improved shape.

Showing your before photo would be very helpful. However, I think this size is a bit large for your base and is pushing inward as it pushes your breast outward. Also, you have a little bottoming out on one size from the weight.

Some of this is hard to counsel you on because we don’t necessarily have your pre-operative photos. Although it does appear that in your pictures, there is some bottoming out of the implants. This could be contributing to the wandering nipple. The correction of a bottoming out implant can be a bit of a challenging surgical intervention, and I would recommend having a conversation with a board-certified plastic surgeon or your previous surgeon to discuss your goals. Sometimes underlying anatomic changes and natural pre-existing asymmetries are further magnified with the surgeries. We are happy to help in any way we can.

Your breast complaints at 6 months post surgery would benefit from a visit and re-examination by  your plastic surgeon. Options for treatment could be discussed. Augmented breasts are not commonly perfectly symmetrical. Aside from your nipple position concerns, the implants may be palpable in breasts with thin tissue coverage. 
A re-examination and review of your pre-operative photos may shed some light onto the nature of what you now see. Post-op photos alone are not that helpful in diagnosing problems and considering treatment option(s) to meet your expectations. Best Regards,

Implant position (sub glandular vs. sub muscular); 2. What type of implant (smooth round, textured round, textured anatomic); 3. Over the course of the past 6 months, was there a time when your implants had dropped and fully filled out your lower breast?
