Its impossible to tell without an examination. Could be one of several things, and your surgeon is by far the most qualified to answer.

Your pre-op pic has a bit of what you have post op, just less augmented. I do not feel it is a scar or cannula line, but rather an area that had multiple bands holding the skin down that still exists causing the area to be flat with the fat transferred to be puffy around it.
The issue is that sometimes releasing the bands during the procedure makes the skin so loose or elastic that it ends up being an outward bump which can look worse.
A small revision should make it better, but probably not round and smooth

I am very familiar with is excess small roll of fat and skin as seen your posted photos. In my experience only recommend direct excision of the skin and fat roll with layered suture repair. After 3 months healing a decorative tattoo to hide the scar. Fees in the $3,000 ranges.

I suggest you follow up with the provider who did the procedure.

It needs to be properly assessed with an in person assessment to see if this represents excess fat, how the skin drapes or at least get some understanding of why the contour shows the way it does. You can then talk about revision options.

Hi and welcome to our forum!From your photos, the irregularity of the skin surface of the lower lateral buttock is noted. It is important to know long it has been since your procedure as it may take 6-12 months after surgery for irregularities due to residual localized areas of swelling to resolve. There are non-surgical modalities available to accelerate resolution. I would revisit your plastic surgeon and express your concerns. Best wishes...
