Will SculpSure leave indentations like CoolSculpting? Looking to get it in my inner thighs.

I am considering having SculpSure for my inner thights, my only question is it possible to leave you with indentations, how often it occurs? I had done coolsculpting for my banana roll and i am left with a 2 indentations 1 on each leg that i need to correct now by filling it with macrolane + radiofrequency..

Unlike CoolSculpting, SculpSure yields smooth and natural results. The SculpSure applicators are held in place by SculpSure Frames. These frames allow the applicators to sit directly on the skin. There is no vacuum or suction involved. The 1060 NM laser raises the temperature of the adipose cells between 42 and 47 degrees Celsius. The feathering of this heat out side of the applicator frames is what guarantees a natural looking result, void of indentations. You should be very pleased with the results!

Since the body is 98.6 degrees F. it is easy to take the fat up to 115-118 degrees for 25 minutes with the nearby tissue experiencing a similar warming that drops off as you move outward. This feathering is not possible with frozen tissue that will have an abrupt drop off of effect right next to the frozen part. "Feathering" is one of the things that makes this unique.

You will not experience indentation with SculpSure. The heating technology of SculpSure has a 30% fanning effect, so there is a large area of fat treated. I hope you have a better experience next time round!

You have hit exactly on one of the big differences between SculpSure and CoolSculpt!
They are both effective, but SculpSure is not limited by the fat that you can "suck" into the device. Instead, SculpSure frames are applied over the area you choose, and because of that the laser heat can actually "fan" beyond the frame boundaries to result in fat cell killing there, as well. Because of that, there is no delineation line or mark, and the results are smooth and natural looking.

SculpSure does not leave any indentations or shelving like CoolSculpting.  Since SculpSure is a laser it is heating the tissue which provides a gradual fanning out of the heat of roughly 3 centimeters past the actual frames.  CoolSculpting is freezing the tissue so it is unable to do this.  SculpSure leaves you with a very smooth and natural look.

SculpSure actually feathers 35% outside of the treated area, so as the patient you are not left with the indentations that you may be left with after CoolSculpt. One of the main reasons that I purchased a Sculpsure laser over the Coolsculpting laser, is because the Sculpsure laser has newer, better and safer technology. Coolsculpting, as the name implies, freezes fat which is much more likely to be sharply demarcated, compared to Sculpsure which uses heat from a laser. you should always plan at least 2 sessions done 6 weeks apart per area.david berman md
