SculpSure: Are 2 treatments needed 100% of the time in 100% of clients?

You should definitely have at least 2 treatments for maximum results. Most reputable clinics will recommend this as standard and offer package pricing. There is a chance that you would notice some reduction in fat after one treatment as you are a good candidate for the treatment. Good luck!

Thank you for your question. Most patients require 3 procedures to achieve optimal results, however, each patient is unique and requires a treatment plan tailored to them. I suggest that you move forward and consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon.

Generally it is recommended that 2 treatments are necessary to see the best results. However, I have seen a few patients that are extremely pleased after 1 treatment. Every patient is different and results do vary. Please consult with an experienced doctor who will give you an expert opinion.

It is generally recommended to have at least 2 treatments per area for best results.  You do not "have" to do 2+ treatments, but we do find that the results are much better and patients are much happier with at least 2 treatments.  Some people may need more as the area being treated has more fat content, each treatment that is done can reduce up to 24% of fat.  Overall, it is up to you and how your body response to the treatment.  Hope this helps.  

In my experience, it is very rare that one SculpSure treatment session is enough to obtain the desired result.  I have had very few patients be satisfied with only one treatment.  I would plan on at least 2 treatment sessions and it is possible that further treatments would be needed to achieve your goals.  Some patients can obtain further improvement with more than 2 treatment sessions.  Each time a treatment is done, there are fat cells being destroyed that were not destroyed by prior treatments.  After one treatment session, you could judge your results and then decide if further treatments are needed.  

This is a great question! I recommend my clients to get two treatments in the same treatment area. The consultation is important because everyone has individual needs. A larger person will likely need more treatments. SculpSure treatments give a percentage fat loss of upto 24% in the area treated. Also the number of applicators used is important, that can be established at the consultation. In your case despite you being small you will have best results with two treatments. If someone is sceptical I allow them to try one treatment, but advise at least two. It is important to have a consultation with an experienced board certified physician. 

I always advise my patients that at least 2 treatments are required to get the best results with Sculpsure. The best results in the studies were with multiple treatments. It typically takes up to 12 weeks after the last treatment to see the full results. That said, I have had a patient that had excellent results after only one treatment and did not feel the need to do any more.

In many patients, treating the same area twice is destroying more fat cells leaving the patient with greater loss to the area resulting in a better results. A patient is not forced to do two treatments, most patients want to do multiple treatments to see the results they desire. As long as there is fat an area, it can be retreated repeatedly. Many patients have been happy with one treatment and others have been happy with two. Each body is different and each body needs different contouring. I would recommend doing an in person consultation to determine if you are a good candidate for SculpSure.Hope this helps,

Certainly there is a place for single treatment of an area. It just depends on your own situation. Generally, if you are in a healthy weight BMI, troublesome fat deposition may be minor enough for you to realize your goals with a single treatment. Obviously the more fat you have, the more likely you will require a second, or even a third treatment to be satisfied with the results. 

In our practice, we have a number of patients who are happy after one treatment.  Results are individual and you stop when you are happy. That said, the company does recommend two treatments for best fat loss. 
If it were me, I’d complete one treatment and re-assess. If I felt I had enough of a result and was happy, it’s OK to stop. Good luck!!!
