I saw Dr. Ngo for SculpSure treatments in the fall because of asymmetrical fat distribution on my belly that has plagued me since I was a teenager. I had pretty much lost hope that anything was going to help even it out as I had tried many different treatments and weight loss protocols over the years. Even when I've been leaner, the asymmetry was still obvious.

When Dr. Ngo and his technician told me about SculpSure, I felt excited about the prospect of doing a treatment that could destroy the fat in a noninvasive way (laser) and had a reputation for much more even results than with fat freezing treatments. I'm so grateful I did it!

After only two treatments (waiting approximately six weeks between sessions and about six more weeks afterward before I saw the full effect), my results are DRAMATIC. It's still not 100% even, but it's so much more even that I don't think anyone else would notice the asymmetry but me. My belly is overall leaner and the treated area blends in perfectly with the surrounding area- no lumps or uneven places at all.

As others have said, the treatment was totally tolerable, and they adjust the intensity to what is comfortable for you. I was able to go do a vigorous workout right after the treatment with no problems whatsoever. In fact, Dr. Ngo said that exercise after the procedure could be beneficial, as moving the lymph system would help to drain the dead fat cells from the treated area.

Dr. Ngo and his SculpSure technician are an amazing team. They made sure I was well informed and comfortable the whole time.

I received a SculpSure treatment on my outer thighs at Dr. Ngo's office and am very happy with the results. Dr. Ngo thoroughly explained the treatment and procedure involved and answered all of my questions and concerns. I find him a knowledgeable, very competent and compassionate person who really listens to you. The SculpSure treatment I received is non-invasive. The pads were put in place and the procedure felt warm-hot and then cool. It felt a little "uncomfortable" once but then the "coolness" started and that "uncomfortable" feeling stopped. Dr. Ngo's technician, Leila, checked in with me continually, putting me at ease during the procedure with professionalism. The treatment took 25 minutes and I had absolutely no discomfort after it was completed and was able to return to my normal lifestyle easily. I noticed a big difference a couple of weeks later as I no longer have the "bump out" on the outer thighs. I have had these "bumps" for over 40 years! Vinh is thorough and fast - something I appreciate when dealing with health needs. Wow! I had a baby about 6 months prior to my SculpSure treatment. I was in desperate need of a “Mommy-Makeover” but couldn’t afford cosmetic surgery!! So I partnered up with my doctor (Dr. Ngo - Smartmed SF) who successfully help me lose 40lbs prior to having my baby. He recommended that I try SculpSure. I gained a ton of weight during my pregnancy and was pretty depressed over it. I was extremely self conscious and embarrassed about my body, but Dr. Ngo and his staff made me feel extremely comfortable. Dr. Ngo told me this would be a great way to kickstart my body transformation and he was 100% correct! I had the procedure done on my back/bra fat and under my chin (I had significantly gotten bigger during my pregnancy in both places). They made sure I was comfortable and began the treatment. It was super fast and painless. For the first few days following the treatment I didn’t see immediate results (your not supposed to). However, about 3-4 weeks later I could see a dramatic difference and I was SO HAPPY & SATISFIED!!! It looked as if the fat/double layer in my chin was just totally carved out! The results are dramatic and actually looks like I did cosmetic surgery. I want to mention that I was unable to work out much, so I know exercise had nothing to do with my results. Dr. Ngo and his assistant were extremely professional, kind, and supportive. If I could afford having my whole body done I would surely do it in a heartbeat. For now it will have to be a few areas of my body at a time. Now that I am confident SculpSure absolutely works like magic, I will be maintaining it and going back as long as it lasts. I have visited Dr. Ngo a few times over the last 5 years. Dr. Ngo is competent, listened and empathized with my problem, he is an expert at what he does. This review is for the new treatment his office now offers, SculpSure. I was his first patient for this service and I have now received two treatments and VERY happy with results. I now have a waist! His assistant Leela is also caring and helpful. They both walked me through the process comfortably, checking in and they were both very informative. I really started to see results a couple weeks after my 2nd treatment. The actual treatment felt like icey hot- tolerable but at times a little uncomfortable.
