Hi! The way SculpSure works is by heating fat cells to a temperature where they die. It also targets those fat cells only to a certain depth. So, braces do not present a problem at all because the laser will not reach anywhere close to your teeth or in your mouth. It will only kill the fat cells under the surface of the skin. Will the SculpSure submental apparatus work on someone with braces? Or will it heat them up and potentially burn them?

After you do a session of&nbsp;Sculpture, about 24% of the fat cells in the area are destroyed, but they remain in that area for up to a few months until your body's "self-cleaning" (i.e. lymphatic) system clears them away. In the meantime, they can clump up and form nodules, which can take some time to resolve.&nbsp;
One of the things you can do to expedite this process is drink a lot of water. The other thing is to massage the area, to break up these nodules and help them disappear. A fascia blaster is a great way to break down these nodules - it's like a super-charged massage. In theory, that should help the fat cells clear away faster so you see results sooner.

Is it safe to use a FasciaBlaster after SculpSure? I know I should massage the area, but will my FasciaBlaster speed it up?

Erythema - or redness - can occur after SculpSure. Think of it this way: the straps are pretty tight, and there's a fair amount of pressure where the frames touch the treated area. Interestingly, redness doesn't always occur symmetrically, probably due to placement variations. In the same way, soreness is very normal, and doesn't always occur on both sides that were treated. Both the redness and soreness should resolve with time.
That being said, there is a small possibility of getting burned if the frames aren't placed properly. I can't tell by looking at your pictures, but I would definitely check back in person with your doctor so that they can take a look.

I had SculpSure on my inner, outer, and abdomen area. The treatment wasn’t terrible but it was more uncomfortable in some areas. The areas it was more painful it’s really swollen and tender, not only to the touch but when I walk it feels sore. I’m very red where it’s swollen but I’m not red everywhere I was treated. Is this normal?

Hashimoto's thyroiditis is an autoimmune issue affecting the function of the thyroid. This can result in multiple medical issues that affect metabolism, energy levels, menstrual cycles, and more. But it is unlikely to affect the clearance of dead fat cells that are the result of SculpSure.
You can be confident that your experience and results&nbsp;with SculpSure will be like that of a person who does not have Hashimoto's.&nbsp;

Will Hashimoto’s affect the rate of removal of dead fat cells from the body after the SculpSure procedure?

Although SculpSure can be uncomfortable, it will in no way cause you to be at a higher heart risk if you take phentermine. If you had a difficult first SculpSure experience and don't want to take phentermine at the same time, you may totally skip your dose that day, or take it after your SculpSure appointment.

I have my second appointment this Friday, I have been taking phentermine 37.5 for 3 weeks now, , and I am in a low carb diet. My question is, do I have to stop the pills to do Sculpsure? (Because of the side effects I have some times, I am afraid it will be too much for my heart) Appreciate your comments.

As you probably know, SculpSure is a treatment that destroys fat cells permanently and noninvasively. Therefore, it is very unlikely that you have scar tissue. What can happen, however, with SculpSure, is that you develop nodules, collections of clumped fat cells that can feel like prominent bumps. These, unfortunately, can last for months.&nbsp;
They usually resolve within a few months, but I have seen them last for over a year in rare circumstances. The best way to try to get rid of them is to massage the lumps to try to break them up and drink plenty of water (about half your weight in ounces) so that your circulatory system can clear them up. The good news is that they are not dangerous, and are likely to resolve.

I had sculpture done about a year ago on my knees. Two treatments. For the past 6 months my legs from knee up to waist hurt every day. I started seeing a massage Therapist and he told me I have scar tissue above my knees causing the pain and that the treatment prob caused it. And my cellulite on my legs have doubled! I mentioned to the girls in the doctors office and they just shrugged it off. It was very expensive :(

Could I have scar tissue from SculpSure?

The nice thing about SculpSure is that it can be tailored very nicely to address certain areas that you want to target. The waist is no exception. With the use of "landscape" frames, the waist can be focused on without losing that hourglass part of your figure that comes from the "love handle" area.
Make sure you communicate well with your doctor so that she knows exactly what you're trying to achieve.

Hi, I don’t have much fat but I am slightly unhappy with my waist size. I am not a candidate for lipo, nor am I interested in it because the change I want is so small and the recovery wouldn’t be worth it for me. I am, however, interested in getting SculpSure to reduce fat on my waist. The thing is, I do not want to go down toward the “love handle area”. So would I be able to use SculpSure to reduce fat only on the circled areas to create a slightly smaller waist?

One of the more frustrating things about SculpSure is the lumpiness (or nodules) that form in some people after their treatment. The good news is that they are essentially clumps of dead fat cells, so you know you will be rid of all that - it's a nice way to quantify what you're losing! The downside is that these lumps can sometimes take months to resolve, as with your case.&nbsp;
Of all my patients who have done SculpSure, all but one had full resolution of their nodules. The only one who still has nodules one year after treatment is a woman in her 70's. I'm not sure if there's a correlation, but it could take longer to clear these nodules&nbsp;if your metabolism and circulation might be slower. In the meantime, keep massaging - perhaps getting a professional masseuse to do some deep tissue massage wold be helpful - and drinking plenty of water. Chances are excellent that they will disappear.

I had a sculpsure treatment 3 months ago in abdomen area, still have 4 lumps as of today. I've been massaging the area daily, drinking a lot water, but the lump sizes are not getting smaller, the biggest one feels like a golf ball. Anything else I could do to make them go away?

Not everyone has swelling after SculpSure treatment. It is possible, even likely, that you will feel some soreness, almost like you had a good workout in that area.
The best thing to do to minimize those symptoms is to drink plenty of water - about 1/2 your weight in ounces - and massage the treated areas twice a day.
The great thing about SculpSure is you get really nice results with very little in terms of side effects.

Hi, I am 45 years old, 5'9, 163.  I am considering SculpSure and I wanted to find out how it really works. Is there swelling? For how long? How painful is it. Does everyone need 2 treatments. Thanks.

Is there swelling and pain with SculpSure, and for how long?

There are a variety of degrees of pelvic relaxation, and what is bothersome or symptomatic for one person may be completely fine for another.
If the laxity that you are experiencing is bothersome to you, then a thorough assessment by your gynecologist should give you an idea of what your options are.
Surgery will give you the most dramatic results, but it also has some inherent risk, and there is pain and recovery time involved.
Non-surgical options, like the MonaLisa Touch (laser) and Vitalia (radiofrequency) may offer you some improvement, though not as radical; the advantage to them, though, is that you are not undergoing surgery.
My recommendation is to have an idea of what sort of result would satisfy you, and then review your options with your doctor.

I have been recently diagnosed by my OB/GYN that I have a prolapsed uterus and bladder, hernia from bladder to uterus. My holistic doctor thinks I should try to avoid surgery by doing some kind of vaginal therapy and she recommended the Mona Lisa . I am 54 have had three children. I have had issues with bladder control for as long as I can remember, childhood. First pregnancy ultrasound confirmed my uterus was tilted.

What would be my best option - surgery or therapy?
