The way SculpSure works is by heating fat cells to a temperature where they die. It also targets those fat cells only to a certain depth.
So, braces do not present a problem at all because the laser will not reach anywhere close to your teeth or in your mouth. It will only kill the fat cells under the surface of the skin.

After you do a session of Sculpture, about 24% of the fat cells in the area are destroyed, but they remain in that area for up to a few months until your body's "self-cleaning" (i.e. lymphatic) system clears them away. In the meantime, they can clump up and form nodules, which can take some time to resolve. 

One of the things you can do to expedite this process is drink a lot of water. The other thing is to massage the area, to break up these nodules and help them disappear. A fascia blaster is a great way to break down these nodules - it's like a super-charged massage. In theory, that should help the fat cells clear away faster so you see results sooner.

Erythema - or redness - can occur after SculpSure. Think of it this way: the straps are pretty tight, and there's a fair amount of pressure where the frames touch the treated area. Interestingly, redness doesn't always occur symmetrically, probably due to placement variations. In the same way, soreness is very normal, and doesn't always occur on both sides that were treated. Both the redness and soreness should resolve with time.

That being said, there is a small possibility of getting burned if the frames aren't placed properly. I can't tell by looking at your pictures, but I would definitely check back in person with your doctor so that they can take a look.

Hashimoto's thyroiditis is an autoimmune issue affecting the function of the thyroid. This can result in multiple medical issues that affect metabolism, energy levels, menstrual cycles, and more. But it is unlikely to affect the clearance of dead fat cells that are the result of SculpSure.

You can be confident that your experience and results with SculpSure will be like that of a person who does not have Hashimoto's.

Although SculpSure can be uncomfortable, it will in no way cause you to be at a higher heart risk if you take phentermine. If you had a difficult first SculpSure experience and don't want to take phentermine at the same time, you may totally skip your dose that day, or take it after your SculpSure appointment.
