I'm really scared. What are the risks to remove and retouch the lift?Which technique is used to reshape again? Can I do it after 5 months;if not, why?thanks!
Answer: What technique is used to reshape? Hello, thank you for your question. I am sorry to hear that you are feeling unwell and distressed after your breast surgery. It is important to address both the physical and emotional aspects of your concerns thoroughly. I have attached a video in detail that specifically answers your question. It is important to ensure that your body is fully healed and that you give it enough time for proper tissue recovery, generally 12-18 months. Your surgeon's assessment of your current situation will determine if proceeding earlier is advisable. The risk of complications increases if the surgery is done too soon, and reshaping techniques will depend on how much tissue adjustment is required. Be sure to communicate openly with your surgeon about your concerns, both physical and emotional, and make an informed decision together on the best course of action for your health and well-being.

Answer: Implants removal after mastopexy Dear Honest467377, generally speaking, your surgeon can use the same incisions so you won't have new scars. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Revision When your surgeon removes the implants there may be some excess skin that needs to be addressed to maintain a beautiful breast shape. Because you have conservatively sized implants the revision will likely be minimal. I've included a video I hope you find helfpul.

Answer: Removal It is best to wait until 6 months so most of the swelling from surgery is gone. Since you will be removing about one cup in volume, some excess skin may need to be removed, probably from the vertical and some of the horizontal scars. Your surgeon will sit you up in the OR to see if the nipple position is still good. You might need to see a physiatrist about the depression and panic attacks.

Answer: Implant removal and scar revision Generally, surgeons wait 6 months from surgery to allow all the swelling to go down. However, 5 months could be possible. Removing small implants such as 155 cc should not cause any real significant changes. You may need a scar revision but you do not need another mastopexy done again. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
