Since I'm very thin and have very little breast tissue / looking to get around 300cc silicone , under the muscle / what do you suggest is a better brand to reduce the chance of showing rippling between mentor and Natrelle ?
Answer: Rippling: what is better at showing less rippling (for a very thin build , under the muscle) -Mentor or Natrelle? Thank you for sharing your question. I would advocate for a thicker cohesive gel implant from the Natrelle brand line. Hope this helps.

Answer: Best breast implant brand for less rippling Thank you for your inquiry. To my knowledge there aren't many high quality studies examining which implant company causes less rippling when the implants are actually inserted into a patient. However, when the implants are examined side by side, they do have a different feel. Also, both companies have more than one line of breast implant so any comparison would depend on the exact line chosen from each company (for example, Natrelle comes in three styles, "responsive", "soft touch" and "cohesive", which all have a different feel and ability to hold their shape). I have used both company's implants extensively and in my experience the risk of rippling has more to do with other factors like the amount of tissue covering the implants, size of the implants relative to the patient's breast size, pocket chosen, etc.

Answer: Implants Both brands are excellent implants, and silicone is much better in avoiding ripples than saline. Fat transfers can also be helpful to give more tissue to cover implant edges.

Answer: Both are similar and so is saline Regarding visible and palpable rippling - In his June 2020 study, "Prospective Study of Saline versus Silicone Gel Implants for Subpectoral Breast Augmentation", Dr. Eric Swanson proved- Saline and silicone breast implants produce similar degrees of rippling, as determined on outcome surveys and ultrasound examination. This was in the journal Plastic and Reconstructive Surg Global Open . 2020 Jun 4;8(6):e2882. doi: 10.1097/GOX.0000000000002882. eCollection 2020 Jun. Answer: Less Rippling Good afternoon, I perform over 600 augmentations a year, and have been doing so for 22 years of private practice. I prefer Mentor implants- in my opinion they are a better company, with a better product, better track record, better warranty, better people, and better customer service. However, does one ripple more or less than the other when properly placed under the muscle? Absolutely positively not- and don't let anyone tell you any differently because it's just not true.
