Can you exercise while you have a small seroma?

I am 6 weeks Drainless TT post op and have a seroma. I have had 7 aspirations, The last few have been below 50ccs of fluid. PS is putting a drain in.

Should my PS use penrose drain for seroma fluid?

When seromas are persistent, some sort of drain is needed. A penrose drain will be a bit messy but allow the seroma to close in from the top down. Sometimes there is a capsule that forms around the seroma which needs to be removed.

Thank you for your question and I am sorry to hear of your seroma issues.  After a seroma aspiration, I would recommend you apply a pressure bandage or reinforce your compression garment to help seal the skin to your stomach muscles where the seroma had been.  Limiting sheering forces...
