There are a few things we need to know. First what did your nose look like before. And was the surgery intended to only improve breathing or was there any discussion at all regarding altering the appearance. Septoplasty alone should not affect the appearance

There is no real reason that the procedures that you describe should structurally effect the external appearance of your nose. If your surgery was recent, it may just be swelling. Follow up with your surgeon for an examination, discussion and review of before and after photographs if available. Good luck!
