I am interested in a fat transfer to breast. If the desired size/fullness is not achieved in one procedure, do I have to keep paying for fat injections? Or is the cost included in the orginal consult/price?
Answer: Fat transfer Each fat transfer has a cost for the surgeon's fee and the medical supplies and facility and anesthesia. Many times, multiple transfers are needed. Otherwise, implants may be the better choice.

Answer: If the desired size/fullness is not achieved in one procedure, do I have to keep paying for fat injections? Hello @Thegingerposher, thank you for your question. Ensure that the specialist you are planning to see understands what you hope to achieve with this technique as well as what can be achieved with it. Lipoinjection is the process of shaping the body. The fat that is extracted from the body is then used to fill out other parts of the body, such as the breasts, in order to enhance their shape. In the case of the breast this technique is used to provide symmetry and improve the body contour and therefore does not increase more than one size. The best course of action is to consult one or several board certified plastic surgeon for more information. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD, FACS.

Answer: Fat transfer You need to ask that if each doctor. They may each have different policies. I think Most surgeons charge for each session. I’m Not a fan of fat injection. I like predictability, not guess work

Answer: Cost of surgery Dear Thegingerposher, the price is entirely practice dependent. If it was planned to be staged than the cost may be included. If its a revision, typically surgeons only ask the patient to pay for the surgery center and anesthesia. Answer: If the desired size/fullness is not achieved in one procedure, do I have to keep paying for fat injections? Each surgery has expenses - supplies, medications, staff, anesthesia, MD time. So YES each surgery has a fee. Best to fully understand the fees per surgery sessions first.
