I read that breast cancer survivors should not use hyaluronic acid because it promotes cancer cell growth. Am I in danger?

Thank you for your question. As far as I'm aware, this is not scientifically supported and may be a myth. I would suggest consulting your physician to see if they have any concerns. 

The human body makes its own hyaluronic acid. There is no scientific data supporting your statement about breast cancer survivors avoiding hyaluronic acid. There is data that suggests that metastatic breast cancer increases serum hyaluron levels and that this may be useful as a biomarker of cancer activity. But this is only investigational.   It has nothing to do with the cosmetic used of manmade hyaluronic acid fillers. Cleo is an external labial lubricant that uses hyaluronic acid among its ingredients. It does not cause cancer. Worry not.
