Can under eye injections give headaches and cause dizziness?

I had restylane injected under my eyes for tear trough a couple of weeks ago. That day I felt dizzy and like having a nervous breakdown. I’ve been having awful headaches and the left side of my face feels a little bit numb and tingly at times. I think it’s the injection I had but not sure if these symptoms are normal. Can a doctor answer if these symptoms are normal and how long will they last? Thank you.

Hi @carla20162016. I would not recommend 4cc of Restylane in the tear trough. I typically use 1 cc to inject this area. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!

Some swelling and/or tenderness is typical and will gradually resolve over 1-2 weeks. If it persists, I recommend following up with your injector. Best, Dr. Emer
