Lips look terrible!! I'm really sad that I spent so much money for this!! What do you think I should do? (photos)

I had lip and under eye fillers (restylane) done about 40 days ago. I absolutely HATE the results. I asked for subtle change on the lips and a "lift" for the face. All I got was a disproportional lip (upper lip bigger and artificial results) and I have the impression that my jowls got worse after the "lift". Now, I'm afraid to try to dissolve it or to fix it and make it worse. My smile is also crooked!

Sorry to hear about your lip and under eye filler experience. Under eye fillers will improve dark circles, but they will not lift the face. If you are unhappy with your results then you can have the filler dissolved with Hyaluronidase. Otherwise, the filler should naturally dissolve after 6-9 months. Make sure you are under the care of an experienced physician injector. Lips and undereyes require advanced injection techniques. Best wishes.

Thank you for your question. I would get it dissolve with hylenex a couple times and it will resolve the issue. You will see a difference in just a couple weeks. Afterwards, I would pick an injector that does a more natural result for lips. I typically do only 0.5ml first then do the half in 1 month. Hope this helps! Best, Dr. Thuy Doan. Atlanta.

after 40 days you should have contacted your doctor long ago and if you did and did not get any satisfaction seek a second opinion. you could have hyaluronidase injected but at this late point it is best to just let it go away and then see an experienced board certified dermatologist

Sorry for the poor experience in filler result and fees charged. But you are also partially at fault using a non boarded filler injector. Additionally call careCredit to log a fee issue, if you were charged verbally one fee and the an additional use of the CareCredit increased the fee. Best to see in person an expert filler injector.
