Should I be concerned about a dip or bump on the left side my nose? 7 months post op (photos)

Hello, i’m currently on 7months after the procedure and i really do like how the nose is looking. However only thing that i’m concerned about is that on the leftside i feel some type of ”dip” or ”bump” that makes the nose looks like it’s out of shape. It’s pretty minimal and i do not feel it on the otherside because right side feels perfectly smooth and straight. In my case the leftside was operated more according to surgeon but i’m interested to know is this normal? (I have circled the are)

I would recommend a complete revision with rib autograft (self) or rib allograft (deceased donor). I would recommend finding a board certified (American Board of Plastic Surgery) plastic surgeon with experience in rhinoplasty. If somebody has silicone implants placed on the bone next to the nose, this could theoretically affect the feasibility of having osteotomies performed. For a more specific answer, please consider re-asking your question with photographs. I hope this helps. Sincerely, Dr Joseph

You would benefit from a rhinoplasty and septoplasty using an open approach. The cartilage has to be realigned as well as the bone. The tip needs to be refined at the same time. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

You answered your own question -- it's due to your skin swelling. Injections will not help because they will not change your skin texture; only skin modifications can help, such as accutane like you suggested.

Is your nose crooked? A little bit - it seems to be a little bit convex to the left side of your face. Is this a substantial amount that you necessarily need to get it corrected? Not necessarily.
