So I had my first rhinoplasty 10 years ago it was to remove a hump and I believe the surgeon did a good job. But I now feel like I have a long large nose. Can this be fixed and if so how?
Answer: Revision rhinoplasty Revision rhinoplasty will certainly be able to reshape and create more definition to your nose. The decision to undergo rhinoplasty is a strictly personal one, as only you can weigh the pros and cons of the recovery and financial aspects relative to how much the nasal appearance bothers you. A rhinoplasty specialist will be able to comprehensively address the issues you have with your nose. While there are a variety of approaches and techniques employed by various surgeons, it is up to you to do your due diligence to find a rhinoplasty specialist in order to achieve the best results possible. Looking at computer-morphed images with your surgeon during consultation will give you a good idea of what is possible, and also give you a great chance to convey to your surgeon what you envision. @drdonyoo

Answer: Considering revision rhinoplasty? What you need to know first Thank you for your question and photos. While it’s difficult to make a recommendation based on the angles of your photos, revision rhinoplasty certainly can address your concerns. Reshaping and lifting the nasal tip may help provide the definition you’re looking for, but only a comprehensive evaluation can truly help pinpoint the cause of this elongation and drooping. I encourage you to schedule a consultation with a board-certified facial plastic surgeon to discuss your concerns and aesthetic goals. A reputable surgeon will offer digital imaging to show what you might look like after surgery.

Answer: Revision rhinoplasty for long nose I agree your surgeon did a nice job in removing the hump. You can have a secondary rhinoplasty to reduce the size of the nose if you wish. This would entail going back to operating room, and removing some of the cartilage, potentially rasping down and breaking the bones. Note that noses can get larger and droopier with age.

Answer: Revision rhinoplasty It is very difficult to give you an expert opinion based only on your photos due to the angle of the camera and the distortion of the lens. Your bridge appears to be nicely straight and narrow. I could not responsibly pass judgement regarding your nasal projection or the angle of your tip without seeing you in person. An in-person exam would be best to help decide if a revision rhinoplasty would be the correct approach, as there are risks with all surgical procedures. I recommend consulting in person with a board certified plastic surgeon who has decades of experience with revision rhinoplasty surgery to discuss your concerns.
