I had a revision rhinoplasty two years ago, and believe I need a second. My nose was broken in an auto collision about 5 years ago, and shortly thereafter I had a rhinoplasty procedure. I was initially pleased, but over time I developed severe breathing issues and my nose completely lacked support (collapsing nostrils, nose literally flopped over to the side if I tilted my head in either direction). I had revision rhinoplasty two years ago and was again, initially pleased with the result, and determined to follow all recovery instructions to the letter, I have been religious and patient. However, since the 6 month mark I noticed a prominent lump that at the time felt soft and spongey where the rib cartilage graft at the top of my bridge met the nasal bone. I mentioned this to my doctor but he told me this was normal healing and to continue taping and doing gentle massage, and to be patient. A year passed, and the same issue persisted, along with continued swelling and lopsidedness on other parts of the nose. I was told to be patient, continue taking the oral isotretinoin he put me on, to continue the massage, taping, and to get regular (every 4 weeks) of morpheus8, which I can neither afford nor have access to where I live. I did everything but that. My doctor insists it’s just normal persistent swelling even after two years, but I know my own body and how it heals, very, very well. I asked for a hydrocortisone shot but he told me it would damage my skin and not be
