Kissed 6 weeks after lip filler - could this have dissolved my filler?

Kissing will not cause lip filler to dissolve. Usually there is initial swelling after lip filler that subsides and gives the appearance of the filler having dissolved, but this is minimal and the filler that was placed is still there.

It would be highly unusual or unlikely that your filler dissolved from kissing. Filler is dissolved using a product called Hylenex which would have to be injected directly into the lips where the filler is to dissolve it. Your body can metabolize some of the HA in the filler over time, but not from kissing someone 6 weeks after filler. Are you feeling like you have lost some of the "umph" in your lips? Kysse is a very soft natural product, I would not utilize this to give someone more "plump" as its just not a "plump" product. Honestly, Refyne isnt my go to for someone who is looking for a plump lip either. If you were looking for a plumper appearance I would recommend Restylane - L, Defyne, Juvederm Ultra or Ultra Plus, Vollure, or Versa+.

I can reassure you that kissing after lip filler is completely safe and fine to do. The only way filler goes away or gets dissolved is either through your body's natural breakdown of the filler (which can take anywhere from 6-18 months) or by dissolving it with hyaluronidase injections.

Kissing six weeks after your lip filler will not cause your filler to dissolve. It should have no impact on your results. If you are wanting more volume you can return to your injector for a touch up.
