I’ve been told by many doctors that this is angular cheilitis. Treatments have included fungal creams, bacterial cream, and various pills. Creams I can remember right now are desonide and nystatin. I’ve been told by all of them to use lip balm and take vitamin b daily. Those never work. The creams and pills temporarily get rid of it for usually a month or so. Lip balm and vitamin b do nothing. This has been going on for years with varying degrees of severity. Will getting fillers help? Thanks!

Answer: Injectable fillers are not helpful for angular cheilitis.
It's difficult to say without the benefit of a formal evaluation. This is my expertise and a huge portion of my practice. Asymmetry is normal and expected. See an expert who does facial shaping with surgical and non surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.
Hi @starla33. I'm sorry you are dealing with this. Sometimes it does take more than 1 round of Hylenex to fully dissolve the lumps. I recommend going to an expert injector for further treatments.
Best of luck,
