Constantly peeling lips after lip filler 5 months ago, how long will it take to heal? (Photos)

I got lip fillers 5 months ago. When I first got the procedure my lips were really chapped and peeled a lot. The rest of my lip healed but my inner top lip never seemed to heal. It would scab in the middle and then I would apply aquaphor and it would flake off by itself or I would peel it off because it looked bad. I’m worried that by peeling it off constantly I’ve delayed the healing process. I haven’t touched it for 2 days now, how long will it take to heal and grow as normal skin without peel

Try not to aggravate your lips more but biting, peeling, and touching it too much. It should take about two weeks for your lips to heal completely.

The filler used for the lips is made out of hyaluronic acid. Post lip injections usually draws in water which means the lips can become chapped or start peeling. To prevent this try to stay hydrated. Also try using a gentle exfoliating lip scrub after your lips have healed from lip injections.
