5 months ago I got lip filler placed in my bottom and top lip. A few days ago I got a really bad case of the flu, and I noticed a white dot on my bottom lip (marked in red), the line marked in blue is a white line I had on my lip from before lip filler. This white dot wasn’t present before. It is slightly raised and it won’t disappear when I press on it. Is it superficially placed filler, or an immune response? Will it go away?

Answer: Possible Causes of White Dot on Lip Post-Filler Injection
Angular cheilitis is usually due to a fungal condition that involves the corners of the mouth. Sometimes it is also due to a vitamin deficiency. Your photos reveal a full lip appearance, and adding filler would not help with your medical condition. I hope this helps. Sincerely, Dr Joseph
It's difficult to say without the benefit of a formal evaluation. This is my expertise and a huge portion of my practice. Asymmetry is normal and expected. See an expert who does facial shaping with surgical and non surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.
Hi @starla33. I'm sorry you are dealing with this. Sometimes it does take more than 1 round of Hylenex to fully dissolve the lumps. I recommend going to an expert injector for further treatments.
Best of luck,
Dr. Nima
