I'm scheduled for second surgery with implant replacement & a benelli lift. I'm adding 200cc on top of whatever my implant will measure to day of surgery. I got my boobs done 9 years ago my card says 465 cc, (saline and under muscle). Will my boobs looks drastically bigger, I want more full and not a lateral boob. By my picture do I even need to replace my implants now? im so Confused now. I'm 5'3 171lbs.
Answer: Implants You have a very nice size now for your frame. Going with larger implants will give you a bigger breast all the way around, including the sides. The size you have now will be better as you age. Adding 200 cc's will add more weight to your neck and shoulders, thin your tissues more, and be more prone to sagging. I recommend keeping what you have and enjoy your breasts.

Answer: Upsizing Good afternoon, You certainly do not have to replace your implants- there doesn't seem to be any issues with them, but going up 200cc will indeed give you a better result, better cleavage and upper pole fullness.

Answer: Implant volume and cup size Unfortunately, you have not told us your bra size. However, if you are size 32 or 34, each 100 cc of implant corresponds to 1 cup size change. If you are size 36 or 38, each 200 cc of implant corresponds to 1 cup size change. From this, you can determine the size you will be after surgery. I do not recommend a Benelli lift but a mini lift. Using a circumareola incision, your breast tissue is reshaped, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Implant size and type Dear Yazzyreal, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals. Answer: Resizing implant replacement - will they look drastically bigger? The issues presented in this case are: 1. "drastically bigger?" is relative since you are 465cc adding 200cc more will increase upper poles but NOT drastically. Using in the 700cc range might give the overdone look. 2. Must use infra incision for that volume of implant. 3. Can your pocket expand enough to accommodate that large of an implant? I doubt it but might do staged enlargement or breast tissue expansion with replacement of permanent implant in 2 surgery stages. 4. If "drastically" enlarging expect lateral or side boob to occur. 5. You might consider overinflation of largest saline implants, though the warranty would become null & void as another option. This is called Large Volume implantation. So best to seek ONLY in person consults.
