I find myself lifting my eyebrows all the time because my eyelids feel heavy. More my left eye than my right. My eyes feel more awake when I lift my brows, and I feel like I can almost see just a little better. My eyes are a little hooded, but not much, so I don't know why my lids feel like a weight. But I'm getting tired of lifting my eyebrows because it's giving me forehead wrinkles.

Answer: Heavy Upper Eyelids It is common for patients to feel like they have heavy upper eyelids, often requiring them to raise their eyebrows, when they have excess skin. You may be a candidate for an upper blepharoplasty. The best recommendation is to have an in-person consultation with a board certified specialist who can properly guide you as to the best options for your eyes and face to achieve the results you seek.

Answer: Heavy eyelids You have a very common problem with excess skin of the eyelids and some sagging of the eyebrow position. It looks like to me that you may have enough excess skin to allow for insurance coverage for your procedure. I would likely recommend a brow lift and an eyelid lift in order to give you the best result and have it last the longest. I feel that this combined procedure will make you look more rested and it will take weight off of your eyelids. You will see better, and you will have less eyelid fatigue at the end of the day. This is a great procedure and I'm sure that you will love the results.
