Clear and brilliant and hair; can it cause hair reduction on a man's beard?

Clear and Brilliant does not cause hair reduction on men. The laser does not run that deep to effect it. We do ask that men come clean shaven and if there hair is very coarse there is a chance that we may not even treat it, because the laser will not register the skin through such this facial hair and we would not be able fire it in those specific areas. 

Clear and brilliant doesnt affect hair growth at all, in fact it can sometimes improve hair growth on a scalp.  I suggest you see an expert and if doing this for improvement in skin combine with skin care, PRP, microneedling and fillers and botox.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Clear + Brilliant is wonderful for men!  It is one of the few lasers that doesn't cause hair loss!  (Many of our lasers are used to remove hair.)  It will tone and tighten your skin and shrink your pores.   

Although it can be hard to treat over a beard, the Clear + Brilliant laser does not affect hair. The wavelengths used in the Clear + Brilliant (1440 nm, 1927 nm) are not absorbed by melanin and so hair is not affected. 

This wavelength is not absorbed by melanin so any hair loss
would be very minor if any reduction at all. Although an individual hair
follicle may be randomly targeted they tend to recover and regrow. 

Clear and Brilliant does not target hair follicles, so it should not reduce your beard.  If you desire hair reduction, choose a laser made specifically for that purpose.  When you do Clear and Brilliant, be sure to shave so that your entire face can be treated.  Five days after treatment, your skin will be glowing!! We do ask men to shave their beard before C and B, but to answer your question - 100 percent safe.
