Thanks for the question. If there were some photos to review that would be helpful. Also did the surgeon perform a pedicle technique or free nipple grafts? If the color of the nipple areola complex has changed and definitely seems cooler compared to the remainder of the breast than you should call your plastic surgeon to be seen soon. If you are a smoker - hopefully you have already stopped in that smoking has a definite impact on wound healing and blood supply to the nipple complex. Good luck
