I have severe back pain. I also go to school and we have a fitness class and it's hard to love and breath with my 34 J breast. I am only 20 and this is so difficult I want them gone!

Many US plastic surgeons
refused to accept insurance for breast reductions because the payment is
inadequate.  Most people pay cash and you
should do the same.  The technique I recommend
is called The Bellesoma Method.  This
technique does not use vertical scars, will reshape the breast tissue creating
upper pole fullness, elevate them higher on the chest wall, while maintaining
nipple sensation and the ability to breast feed.  Pain is eliminated because the weight of the

I do not know how the medical care works in Canada, but if you want it done sooner than later, you can always pay out of pocket to have it done sooner by a private plastic surgeon.  Good luck.

Like anything in life, if you want it and want it done as soon as possible, simply pay cash for it (or finance it if you prefer). You'll be able to get it done on your schedule this route. Insurance companies are routinely denying breast reductions so you may end up waiting 2 years and still getting denied. Best wishes.

You can have a breast reduction in a private practice on a fee for service basis if you are willing to pay for the procedure.  Routinely in the US, with all the insurance hoops patients have to leap through, it can take 6 to 9 months to get an insurance case into the OR whereas a self pay case can be booked within a month of inquiry.
