Do you recommend inner thigh lipo? (Photo)

Question

I heard many people say inner thigh lipo can cause loose skin. I am looking to do a round 2 bbl & am considering taking fat from my inner thigh & arms. I have nice muscular thighs, and although I like the muscular/thick look, I would like to slim my thighs just a smidge (enough to use for fat transfer). I have gotten 360 Lipo & Iove my results. But I am afraid if I ever loose weight in the future or as I age, I will get loose skin in my thighs if I do Lipo there. Please see current pic of thighs

An inner thigh lipo can be done.  However, the inner thigh skin is quite thin and may end up hanging.  You will have to wear a compressive garment for several months to help recoil the skin.

You are right about aggressive liposuction of inner thighs, it may leave visible laxity and contour deformity. Only on the basis of in person evaluation one could make decision whether that is good procedure for you. Good luck.

I would recommend inner thigh liposuction only very conservatively to avoid the issues you mention like irregularities or loose skin.  It can be beneficial in modest amounts.

Hard to say with just one photo. But it seems like you have good skin. You do not have excess skin now nor do you have lax skin, so you should be fine. In any case, you could always get loose or saggy skin with aging and weight lose, even without lipo.
I believe inner thigh lipo is a good idea, especially if you’ve had 360 lipo done already and these are some of the only places you have left for lipo. Just make sure your surgeon offers some sort of energy assisted lipo like Vaser lipo or J-plasma that will help with skin contraction after.

You can do liposuction and add minimally invasive skin tightening like ThermiTight or Renuvion for the skin.

Thank you for your question. The photo you sent is not enough to give an idea. A photo showing the whole leg area from the knee to the lower abdomen would be more helpful. Looking at this photo, it seems that your inner thighs have accumulated fat deposits. There are strech marks on the front and inside of your legs. Your skin quality is not very good or bad. If you want to get good results, I recommend Vaser liposuction and laser application and I recommend that you work with an experienced plastic surgeon.

An in person evaluation is best, but from the photo it appears you have good skin elasticity and should do well with conservative inner thigh liposuction.  Visit with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your goals for liposuction and your BBL revision.

Hi and thanks for sharing your concerns with us. It looks like you can benefit from thigh liposuction, it wouldn't seem like your skin has much sagging, looks very thigh. In my opinion, your results can improve if you combine traditional lipo with vaser too.
