Yes, the chin can be improved with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra. This will allow you to try on the look before committing to a permanent option like fat or implants.A consultation is needed to determine how much filler is needed. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Injections of filler to the chin area can be very effective for enhancing the profile image. Radiesse is different from HA fillers and it is not dissolvable. Restylane Lyft and Juvederm Voluma can achieve similar results but are dissolvable with hyaluronidase. Any of these are good options.
A liquid chin augmentation with Radiesse is an excellent option to help you with your profile. However, the gold standard for chin augmentation would be with an implant. You should make an appointment with a board certified doctor who has experience in this area to determine the procedure that is best for you.
Radiesse is excellent for recontouring the chin area. Starting conservatively is suggested. Should you not be happy with the results, there is now an solution that can remove the Radiesse ( Sodium Thiosulfate). Find an expert. Good luck.
Radiesse comes in 1.5 cc and 0.8 cc syringes. I think the 1.5 cc syringe would give noticeable augmentation to your chin, but it may not give the exact appearance of what it would look like with a chin implant. I think it is reasonable to try the Radiesse first though to see if you like a more projected chin.
Hello dtxgirl,Yes, you can absolutely use Radiesse to augment the chin. Radiesse is an excellent filler to lift and sculpt. Your provider can determine the amount of product needed to achieve your desired result.Best,
Thank you for your question. Radiesse for chin augmentation would give you a nice result as well as see if you like that look before a more permanent procedure like an implant. I would discuss this with a board certified surgeon. Best of luck, Dr. Heffernan
Thank you so much for your question. Yes, dermal fillers are great products to achieve more protrusion to the chin to help balance out patient profiles. Radiesse, as well as Restylane Lyft and Voluma, are common products that can achieve this desired effect non-surgically. Chin augmentations using an implantable mesh is a more permanent, surgical option as well. Schedule an appointment at a board certified plastic surgical center for a thorough consultation and physical examination to determine the best treatment plan to fit your needs.
Radiesse is a great for chin modelling. You have to remember that simply adding volume to improve anterior projection is not enough. This must be done 3 dumentionally with close corelation with your particular face. Although technically the injection is very simple the results depend on the injector's attention to aesthetics. It matters a lot in case of Radiesse since it is a non-dissolvable filler with rather small room for error. You can always ask for sterile saline injection before final commitment to Radiesse. Also ask for before and after photos of previous cases. Good luck!
Hi dtxgirl,While Radiesse is fine, it is more difficult to dissolve than hyaluronic acid. Since you are looking for temporary measures prior to a chin implant, you may want to consider Voluma or Restylane Lyft instead. If you don't like it, these fillers are more readily dissolved. All the best, Justin Harper, M.D.
Radiesse is an FDA-Approved filler that we use very frequently in our office to sculpt the contours of the face. Since we are a national center of excellence for filler reversal, we also encounter patients from other doctors' offices who wish to have Radiesse fillers removed for one reason or...
Chin augmentation with the use of dermal filler is an excellent way to get immediate improvement in both the profile and frontal appearance of your face. It is also safe and effective. My favorite filler for this purpose is definitely Radiesse. I would start with 1.5cc of Radiesse and I th...
Radiesse for for facial contouring lasts about 8-10 months. It is a great filler to lift and contour the cheeks. Overlapping the Radiesse before it is all gone is a good ideas, especially if it is starting to dissipate.
I don't think that your Radiesse has dissolved. The more likely explanation is that you've simply gotten used to your appearance and you probably wish to have a more dramatic effect in which case you would need additional fillers. I would recommend that you look at your photographs before and...
Thank you for your photos. You can start with 1-2 syringes of Radiesse to see how you like the changes. For a single side of the male face, I find that 1-2 syringes is good for someone with an adequate jawline such as yourself. Too many syringes will make it seem unnatural. Dermal fillers can li...
