Hi doctors ! Today I had a consultation with a very well know doctor in West Hollywood for consultation for my chin and jawline . All I asked is just a bit of correction in my left jawline and push my chin a little forward . He refused to proceed with my procedure unless I do four syringes of Radiesse . He also said dermal fillers do not lift !!! Is that true ?
Answer: Jaw correction with fillers you could do as many as you seem fit. This is done all while you hold a mirror in your hand. Results are based on proper placement of filler and not by number of syringes to give you results. 10 to 15 years of experience is important with doctor that listens to your needs and wants

Answer: Chin and jawline augmentation Thank you for your photos. You can start with 1-2 syringes of Radiesse to see how you like the changes. For a single side of the male face, I find that 1-2 syringes is good for someone with an adequate jawline such as yourself. Too many syringes will make it seem unnatural. Dermal fillers can lift the skin to a degree but will not significantly lift as much as a true surgical lift, threads, or liposuction. Hope thiis helps! Johnson C. Answer: How many syringes do you need From looking at your photographs I don't believe that you need to have you shin projected anymore. On the other hand I am not certain as to what it is that you would like to achieve with a use of fillers. in patients like yourself, unless you can show it to me directly by pulling or pushing on the tissues, I ask that you take pictures just like the ones that you sent and draw on them recreating the result that you'd like to achieve. This is very helpful in any plastic surgeons evaluation. Without any of this being done I would not be able to tell you how many syringes you may need. I hope this helps and good luck from New York City

Answer: 2 syringes to 4. Depends on your expectations. Hard to say, everyone has their own method, dilution etc... 2-4 would be my answer. Radiesse is an excellent filler, and if your dermatologist or plastic surgeon is a good sculptor, then you will have a good result. The result YOU desire can only be conveyed by an in depth conversation, once again to understand your goals. This is the most complex part of filler- for specialist we know what will look good, but it's your expectations that is variable. If someone has a good eye for dermal fillers, I suggest you trust them. All the best, Dr Davin S. Lim. Dermatologist, Brisbane. Australia.
