Will I be able to get realistic results from a lip lift?

A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners. The lip lift should not pull the nose down and should not widen it.

Thanks for your question. Uploading your photos would be very helpful. I recommend you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Based on the measurements you've provided, you are a candidate for a lip lift. There are different types of lip lifts, so it's important to discuss the way your surgeon does his/her lip lifts. Generally, a modern day lip lift should not effect tip droop or drastically alter the nostrils. A deep plane lip lift takes the tension off the nose skin so you do not have those aforementioned issues. The scar is placed in the shadowing area where the nose meets the lip. I hope this helps.
