The benefits of an upper lip lift are that it does allow you to see more dentition and teeth and it is a permanent procedure versus fillers. The objective of the surgery is to remove excess white or cutaneous upper lip in order to create more red lip show. It does appear that you have a smallish upper red lip and some excessive white upper lip that could be more balanced. I would recommend consultation with a board certified facial plastic surgeon in your area.

You would benefit from a lip lift because it will shorten the distance between your nose and upper lip, and it will also cause more tooth show.

One error I’ve seen is when veneers are made to increase the tooth show, but nothing is done with the upper lip. This will not improve your overall aesthetic and in fact can worsen it.
