Hello, hope you are well. First of all, it may be helpful to know that a 'gummy' smile is rarely exaggerated by lip lift surgery. Based on your measurement, and the second photo you provided (in repose), you do appear to have sufficient length to consider a lip lift. Whereas in older patients this is done to reverse the elongation and loss of vermilion (pink) lip that occurs with aging, in a younger patient such as yourself the primary motivation is to improve facial balance and dental show.
