Thank you for sharing your concerns about your recent Botox treatment. Botox, and other neuromodulators such as Xeomin and Dysport, can take up to 2 weeks to completely take effect. It is completely normal to notice some areas smoothing before others. This timeline is different for everybody and Botox can take effect much sooner for some. Since you are scheduled to see your injector at the 7 day mark, I recommend sharing your concerns with him/her. Depending on your injector’s assessment, it may be appropriate to add a small amount of Botox as a touch up to certain areas.  Best of luck with your follow up appointment and enjoy your Botox!

Yes, it's too soon to tell what your final results will be. Botox results take 1-2 weeks and will last 3-4 months. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

It is not uncommon for Botox to act slightly faster in one area than others.  It can take up to 7 days to see the maximum effect.  
You can certainly see gradual improvement in the fine lines in your forehead.  Make sure to ask any questions or address your concerns when you see your doctor in follow up!

Different areas of the face, depending on the amount  of Botox injected and the areas injected.  It takes two full weeks to judge the effects of the Botox injections and certain areas can definitely appear "frozen" earlier.  Best, Dr. Green

Hello conwayholl. Thank you for your question and photos. It can take 1-2 weeks to  get the final results from your Botox treatment. Please followup with your injector if there is anything you are unhappy with at that time. 

You are having a good result with predictable timetable. see your doctor at 7-10 days for follow-up

It is common for Botox to not kick in uniformly. After 7 days, the full result is seen. At that time, you can discuss with your provider the results from the injection.

Hello conwayholl,Thank you for your question and excellent photos. All appears to be progressing normally and appears you will have a very good result. Keep your appointment with you injector. We typically will see the patients (especially first timers) about two weeks after injection when all will be fully working at that setting if small adjustments are needed they can be done. Jumping in too early is not helpful. 

Botox (like Xeomin and Dysport) is a medication injected into target muscles of the face to selectively relax them for fewer and softer wrinkles.I tell my patients that muscle relaxation can be seen as early as 48 hours; however, the full effect may not be seen until 7-14 days. I like to see my patients at 14 days to evaluate the effect. I also carefully document the locations and units of each injection. I use this to tailor future safe and effective treatments. Safety comes first.
