How much does a radix graft cost?

I understand that no one can really estimate the cost of a rhinoplasty, but I was just wondering if a radix graft was generally more expensive than other procedures, such as removing a hump. Does it require separate procedures? Some general info would be great. thanks a lot!

In general, the more complex a rhinoplasty becomes, the more time it takes and therefore the greater the cost.  That being said, do you really need a radix graft to get a nice result?  I think the radix graft is one of the most overused techniques in rhinoplasty and is really just a way to avoid lowering the bridge sufficiently.  Even without seeing photos I suspect your case can be done without a radix graft.

The cost of a radix graft is the same cost as a rhinoplasty.   The rhinoplasty procedure to perform the radix graft involves harvesting cartilage from inside the nasal septum and placing the graft along the bridge line. The procedure must be performed under general anesthesia in a certified outpatient ambulatory surgery Center.   A closed rhinoplasty approach can accomplish harvesting and placement of a radix graft. Hi,Radix graft implant cost can vary on geographic location. However, it still considered a formal rhinoplasty procedure and requires advanced rhinoplasty skills. Cost can range from 5k to 15k depending on where and who does the surgery.Best,Dr.S.

It is impossible to compare the cost of different procedures in the rhinoplasty operation. There are many variables which I will not try to describe in this short format. Every rhinoplasty is priced on the basis of the total operation not on the number of individual techniques that are necessary.
