I'm exploring the possibility of a breast lift or reduction to improve my comfort and alleviate the friction-induced rashes and discomfort under my inframammary fold. I'm not interested in breast implants. What would be your professional recommendation for addressing these concerns and achieving the best outcome for my comfort and well-being?
Answer: Bellesoma Method The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Breast lift It looks like you have mild ptosis so it would be a subtle lift, a real finesse case. Nonetheless, it can be done with lifting and reshaping and with no implant. Make sure you review photos so you can make sure your expectations will be met. Thank you.

Answer: Breast lift, breast reduction, breast implants, breasts Dear AURAL199, Thank you for your question about whether a breast lift, a breast reduction, or both would be most beneficial for alleviating discomfort and friction-induced rashes under your breasts. Assessment Based on Your Photo: Your description and the middle picture you provided suggest that a breast reduction would be the most appropriate procedure to address your concerns. Breast Reduction Procedure: I recommend an anchor or inverted T pattern for your breast reduction. This involves: A 360-degree periareolar incision around the areola. A vertical incision extending from the bottom of the areola to the infra-mammary fold. A horizontal incision along the infra-mammary fold from the lateral to the medial breast. This approach allows for the removal of excess skin and tissue, particularly from the lateral, medial, and superior aspects of the breast. Benefits of the Procedure: Alongside reducing the size of your breasts, this method also provides a breast lift. By decreasing the overall volume of the breasts, this procedure should significantly reduce the friction and subsequent rashes under the breasts. It also improves air circulation to the area, reducing the risk of bacterial or fungal infections. Conclusion: Considering your specific concerns, an anchor breast reduction combined with a breast lift appears to be the most effective solution. A simple lift without size reduction might not sufficiently alleviate the issues you're experiencing. I hope this guidance helps in making an informed decision for your comfort and health. Wishing you the best as you proceed with your surgical journey. Sincerely, Dr. Katzen

Answer: Breast lift Thanks for your question! Based on your goals and concerns, I do think that a vertical or lollipop mastopexy would be the best course of action for you. I would suggest an in-person consultation for an accurate evaluation. Good luck!

Answer: Breasts You could have a breast lift or a small reduction, which includes a lift. With a small reduction, your breasts will be less heavy and less likely to sag with time.

Answer: A breast lift is a good option for you You likely won't have enough tissue to have what most insurance companies would consider a breast reduction, so to address your rashes in the fold under your breast, a breast lift or "mastopexy" would be a great option. Having a lift could raise the mound of your breast on the chest wall and reduce the amount of "fold" you have under your breast to help decrease the amount of rashes and irritation you are getting. Hope this helps!
