I am 19 years old and I’m considering surgery to make my breasts appear less saggy and more frame fitting. I am 5’2 and 125-130 lbs with a healthy bmi. I don’t smoke and I’m normally active. I am hoping to have either procedure in the next year with my insurance.

Answer: Bellesoma Breast Reduction The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reduce and reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. The weight of the breast is transferred to the underlying pectoralis major muscle resulting in pain relief without excessive reduction. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Insurance does not cover this technique and the cost is $14,000. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Mastopexy with implants Based on your photos, you would be a great candidate for a Brest lift or mastopexy with implants. The implants aren’t necessary but would give you a fuller more youthful bust with the lift. At the same time, your areolas can be reduced and made to be symmetrical bilaterally. I would love to go over things further with you in consultation here at Smith Plastic Surgery about how we can reach your breast goals.
