I am about 3 1/2 months post-breast reduction, and I have found that the crease underneath my breast now extends rather far onto the side of my ribs towards my armpit, noticeably farther than it did before my surgery. I can't wear backless clothing because this crease now appears visible and makes me look rather dumpy and my breasts appear saggy from the side under clothing, which they don't appear saggy from the front. Could this just be some persistent swelling? How can it be fixed?

Not clear which breast procedure you had, but numbness of the skin for several months is not necessarily unusual. Sometimes a compression bra helps, but you should discuss this with your surgeon.
Thank you for your inquiry! I recommend scheduling a consult with a board certified plastic surgeon like myself and we can create a surgical plan based on your goals or discuss your revision options with the surgeon that did your initial breast reduction.
I have seen dissolvable stitches not dissolve and had to be removed 7 years after the surgery. Anything can happen in surgery. Kepp these areas clean and go back to your surgeon if needed.
