I would like to get about 15units ea side of my masseters just for some relief could it take more then 14 days to work ? My masseters are huge .how long is longest anyone has waited?

Answer: Masseter dysport Hello!Thank you for your question. It is possible to take up to 14 days for Dysport to do its job. However, 15 units of Dysport to each masseter is not enough units to relax the large masseter muscle.

Answer: Typically Not Masseter injections are becoming very popular. Not only do they give relief of jaw and possibly TMJ pain from tooth grinding, but they can actually slim the face as well by decreasing the bulk of the masseter muscle and slimming the lateral face. This typically requires 15-30 Botox equivalent units (45-90 units Dysport) injected into each masseter. This will take 3-7 days to fully work, but should not take 14 days. If you are not seeing a difference after 14 days, its possible that either you need additional units injected, or there may be another cause of your jaw or TMJ pain.
