Hi there...Bumps after lip filler injections can arise from a few different causes.
Granulomas are localized areas of inflammation that sometimes develop after filler injections. They tend to be firm, persistent bum that don't go away with simple massage.. If the bumps are granulomas, they may require specialized treatment such as steroid injections or other interventions.

More commonly, bumps are due to the filler itself not being evenly distributed. These lumps can often be massaged out by your provider or, if needed, dissolved with a small amount of hyaluronidase. Dissolving just the affected area without impacting the rest of your lips is possible with careful application by an experienced injector. However, it does require precision, as dissolving too much can affect surrounding areas.

Swelling or bruising can also cause lumps or bumps, but these should resolve within a few weeks after the injection.

It's crucial to follow up with your provider, who can assess the situation and determine whether these bumps are related to filler or if they could be granulomas. In either case, options such as gentle massage, further dissolution, or other treatments can help you achieve a smoother result.
