I am considering getting both rhinoplasty for my nose as well as ptosis surgery for my droopy eyelids, but I am not sure which procedure I should get first. I believe that these procedures will help improve my appearance, which I am very self conscious about. Do you think these procedures would benefit me, and which one should I have done first?

Answer: Timing of rhinoplasty and eyelid surgery The order of having rhinoplasty and eyelid surgery should not make any difference in terms of results. The simplest solution would be to have both at the same time so you would only have to deal with one recovery period.

Ptosis repair is usually performed by an oculoplastic surgeon, while rhinoplasty is performed by a plastic/ facial plastic surgeon. If you separate them in time, best to wait a few months to allow full swelling to subside between the procedures. It does not matter which procedure is done first.
