I'm looking for the best procedure, surgical or non-surgical, to reduce some of the puffiness in my lower face, along my lower cheeks and jawline. I had conservative buccal fat removal a couple years ago, and am happy with the results, but I would like more of a heart-shaped face. I understand that you need to leave some fat in the face to age well and not look gaunt, so I don't want to be too aggressive with it, but I do want more contour and definition.

Your assessment is spot on. There is a difference between men and women. An athletic appearance is often reflected in a persons facial features as well. But both, men and women, should weight not only their short term aesthetic goals when making an informed decision.
