The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
Hi, thank you for sharing your question. You are a good candidate for a breast lift and will be able to achieve your goal.
I would recommend a breast lift with conservative reduction to achieve symmetry and balance using incisions that go around the areola, a vertical incision, and an incision in the breast crease.
A breast lift, lifts the nipple areolar complex, repositions the breast tissue and tightens the breast giving a "perkier" appearance . A small breast reduction is considered a breast lift.
In looking at your situation, I think you are a perfect candidate for the "naturabra" procedure. In this procedure, we use your own natural breast tissue to create an upper pole fullness and then support that with an internal bra made of your own fibrous tissue called the fascial sling. We first reported this procedure in 2004 and just presented our 18 year follow up study at the 100th annual meeting of the American Association of Plastic Surgeons in San Diego in March 2022. The naturabra procure allows you to have: 1. more symmetric breast position, 2. lifts both breasts and places them up on your chest, 3.decreases the size of your areolas, 4. allows simultaneous filling of the upper pole of the breasts to give "an implanted" look that is stil natural, and 5. increase cleavage by moving the breast tissue up and in thus making it less wide and more full medially. And if you like more fullness, we can also add fat grafting by taking your fat and processing it and injecting it in the desired areas.
Dear AsiahMh10,my preferred lift is a lollipop lift when a periareolar won't do (ie greater than 2cm lift required). The lollipop technique was created by a Canadian plastic surgeon named Elizabeth Hall-Findley and treats the breast as a three dimensional structure instead of two dimensions (anchor - lift). Most importantly it does not require the horizontal component scars that the anchor-lift requires and breasts appear much more natural, lifted, and less boxy. Lastly, the lift lasts longer because the lollipop doesn't rely on the skin to hold the breast up, its actually breast tissue thats being brought together to support the breast and hence improves longevity. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Breast lift (mastopexy) procedures help shape the breasts with the goal of making them tighter, and perkier on the chest wall. While performing breast lift procedures another goal would be to create symmetry of breast size, shape as well as areola position, and size. Similar to breast reduction surgery various techniques exist for shaping of the breast as well as skin incision patterns. It would be best to discuss your options and your goals during an in-person consultation and physical.
You would do well with a lift. You have a nice size of your breasts for your frame, so I don't think you need implants unless you wish to be bigger. I would suggest meeting with a board certified plastic surgeon and discussing your options.
