Hello,Thank you for your question. Pregnancy does not change the appereance of the nose. Any change in the way the nose looks during pregnancy is due to swelling. It will definitely go down and does not permanently change the shape of the nose. Thank you and have a great day.
The body produces extra blood and fluids during pregnancy, which can result in swelling, even in unexpected locations like the nasal passages, and even thickening of the nasal walls. In certain women, the nasal passages and sinus cavities become more congested and produce more mucus. The good news is that the results of your rhinoplasty are designed to last both during and after pregnancy. Although the interior of the nose may start to expand and the appearance of the nose may be puffy or swollen as a result, all of these symptoms are normal pregnancy side effects that will go away after delivery. Always seek medical attention as soon as you can if the swelling starts to make it difficult for you to breathe.
Thankyou for your question! There can be some hypertrophy of tissues especially vascular tissues during pregnancy and hormonal changes, but this is usually not made worse because of a rhinoplasty procedure. Please discuss all your concerns with your Board certified Plastic Surgeon who can help you. All the best!
There are multiple, mostly temporary changes that a woman goes thru during pregnancy. Most of them are result of hormonal changes, which are temporary and will disappear in months after giving birth. Nose swelling may be one of them, but no permanent changes will happen. Hope this helps.
During the hormonal changes of pregnancy there is water retention and the nose gets swollen as well. If a rhinoplasty has been done before pregnancy then it is important to start taping the nose through out the pregnancy. RegardsDr. J
Hi, you can have a rhinoplasty but ask for only a subtle change. Your nose is prominent and can be made slightly less so without making a drastic change. For example a small amount of de-projection and giving a more defined supra-tip break point would probably give you the appearance you are...

Hi and welcome to our forum! After nasal injury, radiographic imaging studies are not 100% accurate. Physical examination is equally effective in determining the presence of a fracture. CT scanning is the gold standard for diagnosis but is expensive. It's use is reserved for questionable...
