I’ve had my plastic surgery done almost 8 months ago. The procedure was initially for my septum because I had breathing problems. And because I had a dorsal hump the doctor asked me if I wanted it also gone, so I said yes. The surgery went well and I liked the new shape of my nose but as the swelling got down deformaties and shadows became more visible. Went to my 6 month post-op and the doc said that everything is fine but im worrying because the front and the side of my nose aren’t smooth..

It is too early to consider next surgery; it takes good year for result after rhinoplasty to mature; at that time, after good evaluation, next surgery may be considered. There is no doubt that you have dorsum irregularities; this may be corrected with minimal surgery when result is stable and mature. In general, 5-9% of rhinoplasty patient may need some form of revision. Good luck.

That’s an easy revision. In most cases it is best to wait a year to have it revised. It sounds like your surgeons specialty  may not be cosmetic  rhinoplasty and you may need to consult a different surgeon
