What is the most effective and least invasive type of liposuction for the saddlebag area? I'm mid 40's, 125 pounds, just have some fat that won't go away in the saddlebag/outer thigh area and a little inner thigh too.
Answer: Best type of liposuction Dear ormamaof3, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: What’s the Most Effective and Least Invasive Liposuction for Saddlebags? In your case — being generally fit with some stubborn fat in the saddlebag (outer thigh) and inner thigh areas — the most effective and least invasive liposuction method would typically be Vaser Liposuction. Vaser Liposuction uses ultrasound technology to selectively target and emulsify fat cells without damaging surrounding tissues. This offers several benefits: More precise and smooth body contouring Less bruising, swelling, and faster recovery compared to traditional liposuction Skin tightening effect, which is particularly helpful in the 40s and beyond It’s also safe and effective in delicate areas like the inner thighs. In many cases, the procedure can be done under local anesthesia with minimal downtime. However, the final decision should follow an in-person consultation and full body assessment to determine if you're an ideal candidate.

Answer: Liposuction Liposuction can be done to both areas and can be done under general anesthesia or as awake liposuction. Most surgeons will use a power-assisted liposuction device, but things like ultrasound, laser, or radiofrequency is to help tighten skin, and usually not needed for the saddle bag areas unless they are very large.
