What would balance out my face in a natural and feminine way? (Photos)

Question

My goal is a softer and more feminine appearance as I feel my nose is quite strong right now. I’ve always had small lips as well so I wonder if filler would help with that? I think my nose is what is throwing off the balance the most though and not giving me the petite feminine profile and appearance I’m looking for. I’d love to see a digital alteration of my nose w/o the bump and a lifted and more slender tip.

Hi @Kristin.Nicole. Thank you for sharing your photos. I recommend seeing an expert rhinoplasty specialist for an in person examination. There are several options for you that can be determined after examination. In my practice, I utilize piezosurgery. Piezosurgery is a more gentle technique that allows for greater precision. Less bruising and swelling is common with Piezosurgery. In a typical rhinoplasty, a hammer and chisel technique is performed leading to more inadvertent fractures.

During this procedure, the bump you’re referring to can be removed and the tip lifted and slenderized to create a natural-looking, feminine result. A conservative amount of filler can also enhance the shape and volume of your lips. 
Please keep in mind that rhinoplasty is one of the most complex of all plastic surgery procedures, requiring experience, skill, and even artistry to achieve an optimal outcome. Such as narrowing the tip if it's a bit wide. You only posted profile views, but often, it's the three-quarter views that make the nose look longest -- droopiest. And if the tip is narrowed and elevated and the bump is lowered to just a tiny bit of a natural-appearing concavity, those are the changes that I personally associate with "petite" and "feminine" when it comes to the nose.How *much* to elevate the tip, or deproject the nose, or make other changes? We figure that out with morphs, well before surgery. I'd love for you to see some excellent professionally-designed morphs of what could possibly be done with your nose. Morphs could also help you identify better just what's bothering you, and help you set a goal for the rhinoplasty that's accurate for your tastes. Profile and three-quarter views would be particularly important in morphing your nose. (Side note: in my opinion, morphs should really be done by the surgeon, or he should direct an assistant as she makes the morphs. Morphs should be made with a constant eye to what actually *can* be done in surgery, for that particular nose, and the surgeon has that information and judgment best.)

I'd love for you to see some excellent morphs of what could possibly be done with your nose. It might make you feel better about the possibilities. Morphs help you plan your ideal goal, and help the surgeon understand what you need in order to be happy, and correlate that with what he thinks is possible in his hands.
Remember that rhinoplasty is an exquisitely difficult operation to get right, and you should only have surgery if you are able to make yourself very confident in your surgeon's skills. The changes that your nose needs require advanced techniques, and skill that most plastic surgeons don't possess with expertise. Based on your photos, you do have a hump on the nose and a underrotated tip.  I would agree with your initial thoughts of reducing the hump and lifting the tip.  In terms of whether your nasal bridge, nostrils, and/or tip is too wide, that is better assessed with a straight on view.  A thorough examination before rhinoplasty would also take into account your breathing.  As you suggested, a prominent nose will make the lips and other facial features appear disproportioned.  I would recommend consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon with significant experience in rhinoplasty.
