Thank you for your question. There is no contraindication to IPL treatments while on oral steroids. The prednisone will reduce the inflammatory response and potential soft tissue swelling.Dr Karamanoukian#RealSelf100 Member

Thanks for your question. Probably best to wait. Prednisone and other corticosteroids slow down your healing and increase your risk of having infections. I'd wait until you've been off of prednisone for at least a couple of weeks.
