The short answer is that no one know for sure but the general recommendation from me would be no.  Lupus generally is an inflammatory disorder and in general the patient skin is more sensitive than usual.  They can easily break out into rashes and often time there is no stressor but most often it is a response to some stress. For this reason, I would tell you to be cautious.
